Day 1: Nairobi/Samburu
Depart for Samburu Game Reserve, the semi arid region of the nomadic Samburu people. Drive via the fertile central highlands through vast pineapple plantations past the Equator to arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. Game drive after lunch allows viewing of the rare local species of Zebra and Giraffe. Dinner and overnight Lodge.
Day 2: Samburu
Full day at Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. Rest of day at leisure. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Lodge. This is a park famous for its special species that are not found anywhere else. The Long necked antelope otherwise called the Gerenuk, the Somali ostrich, Beisa Oryx, and reticulated giraffe are the species that you can see here amongst several birds’ species that are also found in the part of the country.
Day 3: Samburu /Solio
Depart for Solio ranch after early morning game drive and breakfast. Drive back to the slopes of Mt. Kenya via the vast wheat plantations past the arriving at Rhino Watch lodge in time for Lunch. The Tents and Chalets offer an inviting atmosphere; a home away from home. An afternoon game drive follows at the Solio Lodge world famous for its enormous white Rhinos. Other animals include cheetah, Jackals, Impalas, Lions, Zebras and Eland. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4. Solio –Naivasha
Depart Solio after breakfast and drive to the floor of The Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha in time for Lunch. The view of so many birds is very rewarding and appears almost unreal. The Islands surrounding the lake give an almost perfect silhouette and are buffalos, impalas, Zebras, warthogs and hundred of birds that fill the grounds with
unending chirps. An afternoon boat ride is an optional excursion in the lake is worth wile amongst the hippos and fish eagles. Dinner and overnight at Lodge.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha -Masai Mara
After our breakfast we make our way to Kenya’s premier wildlife park – the Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch.
This is the northern section of the Serengeti Plain, which is home to the
greatest concentration of game animals in the world. Afternoon Game drive with Dinner and overnight at Lodge
Day 6: Masai Mara
Enjoy a full game drive in this world spectacle. Choose between two game drives or a full day game drive with picnic lunch. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Maasai Mara Game Reserve is Kenya’s most spectacular of all Kenyan parks and reserves, and here you have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. The Reserve covers an area of 700 square miles and forms part of the Serengeti ecosystem and hence hosts the world famous spectacle of the annual migration of up to two million wildebeest, thousands of zebra and an escort of carnivores from the Serengeti plains, following the rains and succulent new grass.
Day 7: Mara-Nairobi-Mombasa
Depart Masai Mara after your breakfast to arrive Nairobi in time for Lunch at pamper restaurant. Transfer to you place of convenience or airport for your flight to the coastal town of Mombasa. Transfer to beach hotel to begin you beach holiday in this coastal town.
Day 8 and 9: Mombasa
Enjoy the coastal city adventures which include swimming with the dolphins, turtle watching, beach volleyball, snorkeling or just lay down in the Sun to get the African Sun bleach. Overnight at beach resort.
Enjoy the last moments in the white sandy beaches of Mombasa.We end our 10 days safari and beach holiday in style. Enjoy lunch at a city restaurant where we shall sample Swahili cuisine. Late afternoon transfer to the airport for a flight to Nairobi. Connect with your flight home.
