Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
We begin our Masai Mara Lake Nakuru camping safari after breakfast. We shall pick you from your Nairobi hotel. We depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve away from the hustle of city life. There will be a stop at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. The view of the valley below is splendidly panoramic .Arrive in time for lunch at camp. On arrival proceed on a game drive in this world-famous reserve. The high populations of animals guarantees as sightings this evening. The Masai Mara is famous for the wildebeests migration. There are also good large cat families. At sunset return for dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 2: Masai Mara
After breakfast, proceed for a day of tracking game with your guide. All the big five may be seen namely elephant, buffalo and lion; the sighting of rhino and leopard which make the total big five. However Rhino cannot be guaranteed as they are few in number. They are also very shy and elusive. Break for your leisurely picnic lunch at the hippo pool. Towards the day’s end, return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Nakuru
Depart Masai Mara after breakfast for your drive to the pink lake . The lake is so called because of the millions of flamingos that flock here. Arrive in time for Lunch at tented camp. Our Masai Mara lake Nakuru camping safari engages us after lunch as we go in search of the animals in this park. Lake Nakuru is a rhino sanctuary. It is also home to endangered Rothschild giraffe. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi
After breakfast proceed on a game drive. Exit Lake Nakuru National Park, which has a fantastic array of bird life. the birds include flamingos, white pelicans and the marabou stork, all water birds, that breed in the lake’s alkaline waters.You may spot white rhino and the rare Rothschild’s giraffe. The giraffe has five horns instead of the usual three and clear instead of spotted shanks (legs). A visit to the baboon cliff offers a scenic panorama of the lake below. The Lake is surrounded by a vast tract of euphorbia and acacia forest. Makalia falls within the park are an additional attraction. After lunch, return to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
