Day 1: Nairobi
You will be received on arrival and transferred to the Hotel for your overnight stay. Dinner and overnight at The Norfolk hotel.
Day 2/3: Nairobi-Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.
Today we depart Nairobi and off to the Laikipia plateau. This is among the best destinations in our Kenya bush homes safari exclusives. We land at the Lewa wildlife conservancy, a private wildlife sanctuary that beams with wildlife including the Big five. It is expansive and has diverse habitat. More than 360 bird species have been recorded here and game drives are quite rewarding. We shall be spending the next two days at the Sirikoi exclusive bush home. It is on the northern slopes of Mt Kenya and has a natural spring that attracts wildlife close to the lodge. Activities at Sirikoi include helicopter rides, horseback riding, game drives, scenic flying, bush walks and cultural visits to the local communities.
Day4/5- Lake Naivasha.
We depart from Lewa and off to one of the fresh water lakes of the Great Rift Valley. Naivasha is most impressive of the lakes with spectacular lodges and home surrounding the serene environment. Arrive at airstrip and transferred to Kiangazi house. Activities around Naivasha include boatrides in the expansive lake. Schools of hippos and water birds are seen at the edges or even in patched areas of the lake. The gigantic fever trees in the surrounding are haven to many including Vervet and sykes monkeys and array of birds in the canopies. Gamedrives can be done at the Oserian sanctuary .Other activities include bush breakfasts, Bush walks at Cresent island, sundowners, Day and night game drives, visit the neighboring flower farms or even the power generating plant at Olkaria. Naivasha is more of a relax and unwind destination.
Day 6/7 Maasai Mara
This is a lazy morning for us. Engage in any morning activity at the lodge. After our lunch we shall be transferred to the airport for our scheduled flight to Masai Mara. On arrival we shall be transferred to the Mara plains camp. The Masai Mara offers a large variety of wildlife, abundant and roaming freely in 5this African plains. Mara offers you opportunities to see lions, crocodiles, wild dogs, giraffe, hippos, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, buffalo, zebras, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant.
Spend the next two days in this unending plains that are both rewarding and amazing. Activities include sundowner, bush meals, bush walks, cultural experiences and others.
Day 8: Nairobi
Today we say goodbye to the savannah plains and transfer to the airport for our flight to Nairobi. A day room awaits the Norfolk hotel. Early dinner and afterwards a transfer to the airport for your outbound flight home.
