Today as you set foot on African soil, you will be received by our Kenya safari representative and transferred to the hotel for you overnight stay at the historical landmark in Nairobi, the Norfolk hotel.
Day 2/3 – Amboseli National park
We have an early breakfast today and head to to catch our flight to Amboseli national park. Amboseli boasts of a wide variety of wildlife and birds. The under steams formed by the melting snow of the Mighty Kilimanjaro provide thus giving life to this otherwise dry area. Seasonal lake and ponds attract a number of wildlife. Enjoy observing the largest mammals on land, elephants, bath, dust and wallow in rolling plains. The background of snow peaked Kilimanjaro on a bright and clear day are exceptional.

Day 4/5-Lewa wildlife Conservancy.
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Nairobi. Here you will catch a connecting flight to the Laikipia plateau landing at the Lewa Wildlife conservancy. This is a private conservancy in the northern frontier. Here you will find wildlife species including reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, beisa oryx and others that are only found in the north. In addition elephants, buffalo, rhino, Zebra, Jackals, caracals and other big cats roam here freely.
The landscape is beautiful with Mt Kenya and Mathew ranges in view. Other activities include horseback riding, Nature walks, Camel rides are available. Night game drive give you a chance to see the rarely seen nocturnal including aardvark, serval cats , bush babies and pangolins.

Days 6/7/8- Masai Mara National Reserve.
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for the scheduled flight to the famous Maasai Mara. On landing you will be transferred to Mara Plains camp.The game reserve has a high number of wildlife providing a wonderful wildlife viewing all season round. The unending plains are home to the big five including rhino, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino. It also has a large number of big cat families which led to the documentary of the BBC big cat diary being filmed here. Between the months of July to October it receives thousands of plain herbivores from the Serengeti that are in search of greener pasture. The Mara Ecosystem has a big diversity and there is always something happening around you from the very big land mammals trumpeting to the very small dik dik antelopes that are barely noticeable in the shrubs.
The early morning light offers the best photography opportunities. Morning and evening game drives in this expansive reserve in search of wildlife. Masai Mara is the best reserve for a start or end of any Kenya safari.

Day 9 – Masai Mara Game Reserve- Nairobi
An Early morning game drive before you return to camp for breakfast. Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. Use a day room reserved for you at the Fairmont The Norfolk hotel. Afternoon at leisure.
Dinner and afterwards a transfer to the airport for your outbound flight.
