Day 1: Nairobi
Arrive at Nairobi International Airport where you are met by a Duma Afrika treks representative. Our Kenya family safari tour begins with a transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight .Enjoy the scenic busy city in southern sahara.
Day 2: Nairobi-Amboseli
This morning after breakfast, your Driver guide will meet you in the hotel. Drive to Amboseli National Park . This is home to the legendary Mt. Kilimanjaro. Home to the proud and brightly painted Maasai tribe. The acacia woodlands and elephant grasslands of the park shelter an abundance of game. The wildlife include buffalo, lion, cheetah, hyena, zebra and wildebeest. A game drive follows after lunch in the park. Dinner and Overnight at Kilima camp.
Day 3: on safari at Amboseli
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the park. Amboseli was established as a reserve in 1968 . It was gazetted as a National Park in 1974. The Park covers 382 km2, and forms part of the much larger 2890 Km2 Amboseli ecosystem. It is renowned for its flat plains and abundance of wildlife. Large herds of elephants are seen here. There is also plenty of birdlife due to the underground streams that are fed by mighty Kilimanjaro. The family will explore the best that Africa has to offer. Dinner and Overnight at Kilima Camp.
Day 4: Amboseli-Lake Nakuru
Depart early and drive to Lake Nakuru situated on the shores of Lake Nakuru. Arrive in time for lunch. Afterwards, take an afternoon game drive along the shore. This is a park where you may spot the elusive leopard, the recently introduced Rotschild’s giraffe and many species of birds. Depart the park for an overnight at Crescent camp in Naivasha. A beautiful tented camp accommodation for our Kenya family safari. Dinner and overnight at camp.
Days 5&6:Lake Nakuru- Masai Mara
Explore lake naivasha in the morning . Enjoy a boat ride before we say goodbye and head to the worlds best animal arena. Drive across the Great Rift Valley to reach Kenya’s most famous Game Reserve, Masai Mara. Here you will stay for next two nights. Spend the days exploring the rolling hills and plains . You have a chance to spot black-maned lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, and buffalo along with varied species of hoofed animals. Enjoy the fascinating facts and cultural dances from the maasai culture. Mingle with the people for an insight of their ways of life. Dinner and Overnight at Elengata Olerai camp
Day 7: Maasai Mara-Nairobi
After breakfast return to Nairobi. Lunch is served at the famous Carnivore Restaurant / Pampers where all kinds of game and domestic meat are on Menu. The roasting is done at the entrance of the restaurant. The restaurant also caters to vegetarians with a vast array of delectable dishes and salads. Last minute gift and souvenir shopping .
Transfer to the airport afterwards to catch your outbound flight
