The word Sopa means “Welcome” in Masai language . Mara Sopa lodge is in the Oloolaimutia valley on the furthermost eastern corner of the Masai Mara National Reserve. It is among the first lodges to be built in the reserve. The lodge blends perfectly with its environment. The people, great wealth of wildlife, bird life, and natural flora. You can tell the age by lush green grounds and mature trees.
The cottages are made in African resemblance. A total of fifty cottages. These have been classified to doubles, suites and honeymoon suites depending. The rooms have a king or queen size bed. They also have mosquito nets, safes, dressing tables, en suite bathrooms and verandahs. Mara Sopa lodge is famous for its capacity to hold large incentive groups. A variety of activities can be organized for the incentive groups Safaris. This includes Bush breakfast, Lunch, dinners, Bush barbeque, African thyme nights and gala dinners. Mara Sopa lodge has spectacular views down hill. The large swimming pool is large. The outside patio is when serving afternoon tea, coffee and snacks.
