Meru national park is Wild and beautiful. It covers an area of 870km and situated 348km North East of Nairobi. It is  also known as Elsa country, formally home of Joy and George Adamson.  “Born free “ The story of Joy Adamson’s and research amongst lion and cheetah. “Elsa” the lioness was the most well known and her grave is marked here. These prides of plains offer wide variety of habitats and landscapes in Kenya.

Meru attractions include the Tana River, Views of Mt Kenya, Former home of George and Joy Adamson, and the Adamson falls.A variety of accommodation is available in Meru.
