Migunga tented camp is located at the northwest corner of the Lake Manyara National Park. Manyara is a spectacular park for bird lovers. It has a prolific bird life and also for the tree climbing lions there. The Camp is nestled in a thirty five acres piece of acacia forest. The forest forma a perfect scenery for relaxing and enjoying nature.
The tented camp consists of nineteen semi luxury tents. The camps have large attached bathrooms set under canopy of acacia trees. The lodge also has eleven en suite spacious Meru tents. They have flush toilets, showers and hand wash basins .The camp also has a restaurant, bar and reading or relaxing area. The tents are raised with a platform and have a private verandah. The patios offer a unique viewing experience. The camp has electricity and has battery and camera charging facilities.
Activities in Manyara include game drives in to Lake Manyara.With prospects of seeing lions, wildebeests, gazelles, giraffe and buffaloes. Other activities include biking, bird walks and cultural visits to the nearby Mto wa Mbu. This village is famous for its colorful people and the local homemade banana beer. This is a unique local cultural experience.
